Chandler has a heart for helping people. His life’s work is a testament to that fact. Maury County needs School Board members who will always do what is best for students, parents, teachers, and staff. I have no doubt Chandler will do just that. Intelligent representatives who are serving for the right reasons are essential for the success of Maury County Schools. I know Chandler meets both of these criteria. – Wayne Lindsey
I am Reverend Jerry Williams of Memphis, TN. My wife, Pauletta, and I would like to endorse Chandler Anderson for school board. Now you may ask, “why would an old couple from Memphis, TN be endorsing a man from on town on the other side of TN?” Well life has a funny way of connecting people. My beautiful daughter, Liz, works alongside Chandler as a fellow nurse practitioner. She is well respected and love and I would listen to anything she says. In times of crisis she always seems to know what to do. Last December I had a massive heart attack. I went from working and walking three miles a day to being told I would need quadruple bypass heart surgery to have any chance of surviving. What did that even mean? As the cardiologist explained the procedure, I looked to my daughter as I knew she would know what to do. My daughter looked petrified. I saw her knees buckle as she held my wife’s, her mother’s, hand. My daughter looked puzzled and my stomach felt gutted because I knew from that look on her face that my princess did not know what to do. But just as fast as I watched my baby Liz pull out her phone and call who I later found out was Chandler Anderson. A few calls later and Chandler was on a video call with the hospitalist, the surgeon, the nephrologist and the cardiologist drawing a colored diagram detailing the procedure for me and my wife. Chandler went on to call my daughter’s boss to make sure er shifts were covered, and after a few weeks in the hospital we were discharged home to find a fridge and cabinets full of delivered groceries compliments of, you guessed it, Chandler. He continues to this day to communicate with my doctors checking on my progress. As it turns out Chandler has a background in cardiology. One day I asked my daughter for this Chandler’s number. I called him up and asked why? Why did you do so much for us? What’s in it for you? He said “I don’t know sir, its just the right thing to do.” So with everything in us Pauletta and I endorse Chandler because if he would go to such lengths to care for and advocate for a coworker’s father on the other side of TN I can’t imagine the lengths he would go to and the mountains he would move for the children in his own town. – Reverend and Mrs. Jerry Williams

I have known Chandler Anderson for nearly two decades now. Between being a parent to three children who all attended or attend Maury County Public Schools he is also a small business owner, Nurse Practitioner, a band parent and also a football and basketball parent who is well versed and deeply connected to this community. I can’t tell you how many times Chandler has sponsored and supported our local public schools. Between financial sponsorships, doing free physicals for athletic teams and helping those in need, Chandler has always stepped up to the plate. Like most people in the medical profession, Chandler has a servants heart to serve others. As a small business owner he knows the importance of having a strong and thriving public education system here locally.As a parent and coach of children in our local public schools, there isn’t a better person to serve on our local school board! Chandler Anderson’s journey is a testament to his exceptional character and determination. Having been emancipated at the age of 16, he faced numerous challenges. However, through sheer resilience and hard work, he put himself through college, ultimately becoming a licensed nurse practitioner. Not only did he establish the first successful group of the Right Care Clinics in Columbia, TN; but he was also the first to diagnose the initial COVID-19 case in Maury County, displaying remarkable foresight and professionalism during a time of great uncertainty. Despite the health departments guidance for patients to go home, Chandler continued to treat every individual with empathy and expertise, providing care and comfort when it was needed most.Furthermore, as a father to three children who excel academically, he understands the importance of education for their future. Chandler is a proponent of pushing their education, recognizing that it shapes their future. His commitment to his own education and his dedication to ensuring his children have the best opportunities underscore his passion for educational excellence. He also advocates for vocational schools, understanding that college isn’t the right path for everyone. His devotion to providing options for different career paths highlights his understanding of the diverse needs and aspirations of students. His selflessness and commitment to the well-being of others, combined with his extensive healthcare experience, make him an outstanding candidate for the school board. I have known Chandler for many years, from the Union Strike of 2019 through the initial days of the Covid outbreak, where he handled the very first cases at his clinic, to assisting community members from all walks of life. Chandler has consistently demonstrated that he is dedicated to the well-being of the people. Despite facing numerous obstacles in the past few years as a community, and Chandler has always stood by the side of tax payers during those trying times. Chandler has proven himself to be more than just a leader he is a neighbor with a heart of gold, always ready to help those in need. Our society needs more students entering the workforce with actual skills and less degrees. Chandler seeks to establish vocational training and that is exactly what our communities need. With the explosive growth of Maury County there is only going to be a greater demand for electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, mechanics, nurses...you name it! Chandler and his family have always been there for me and my family. I have known Chandler for decades. He and many members of his family have trusted us with their real estate needs.
